Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO 9001:2008 US-based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and power components, has announced availability of their new Heyco-Flex III Liquid Tight Fittings for flexible, nonmetallic liquid tight tubing. The fittings are available in Straight-Thru and 90° Sweep styles with NPT Threaded Hubs.

Lightweight and designed for quick and easy installation at lower cost, the fittings provide a permanent assembly between the tubing and fittings - simply put the tubing over the fitting ferrule until the tubing "clicks" into place. The fittings are nontoxic and UV resistant, rated for NEMA Type 3R applications, and rated for NEMA 4 and 4X applications when used with Heyco-Flex III Tubing. They are also UL recognized to both Canadian and US Requirements under File E121095.

For use in both wet and dry conditions, Heyco-Flex III fittings are suitable for use in high vibration or flexing applications such as automotive equipment, fiber optics, computers and peripherals, lab equipment, robotics, etc. They also resist salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents (feature not assessed by UL certification or testing).
